Public Performance Reports

All councils in Scotland must ensure that members of the public are given an honest and balanced picture of how their local council is performing.

We want to ensure that residents, service users and our partners can access the information that is of interest quickly and easily. For an 'at a glance' picture of how we are doing, have a look at our latest report below. You can also pick up a copy of our latest report at your local library or council office.

For a more detailed view of our performance look at our Statutory performance and our quarterly performance monitoring. More information about our priorities for service delivery over the next three years can be found in our Service Plans.

For the period 2007 - 2012 the council also has a Strategic Priorities document. A review of our performance against the strategic priorities between 2007 and 2011 has been undertaken and is available below.

Statutory Performance

The Local Government Act 1992 requires the council to publish performance information for its main services each year. Audit Scotland prescribes a set of statutory performance indicators that we must publish however the council also chooses to report a set of local indicators that we believe further evidence our ability to meet our responsibilities defined within Best Value legislation

If you have any comments or questions about this performance information, please contact Amanda Roe, Performance Management Specialist, Woodhill House, Westburn Road, Aberdeen, AB16 5GB Tel. 01224 664721. Fax 01224 665204.
