Change in Circumstances
If you are in receipt of Housing Benefit and/or Council Tax Benefit, it is your duty to notify the Aberdeenshire Council about any change in your financial or household circumstances, for all members of your household. You can do this by visiting your local Benefits Office or by filling in our simple online form.
You must never rely on any other Council service or other external organisations to report the changes for you and your household. If you are in doubt about whether a change will affect your entitlement you should always contact us about this.
Have your circumstances changed since you applied for benefits or since they were awarded?
When things change at home or at work you will need to tell us. You will need to tell us when your income and/or savings change. This applies to all members of your household. You must tell us when your income from other benefits changes. Please tell us even if you think that the change will not affect your benefit entitlement so that we can give you advice.
