Experiencing financial difficulties or facing redundancy?

Aberdeenshire Council recognises that, for those of you facing financial problems or the loss of your job as a result of the current economic downturn, it can be confusing trying to access the right help and advice for your personal circumstances.

The Council in common with a number of other agencies and voluntary organisations offers a range of services, support and advice relating to, for example money matters or benefit entitlement. To help you find the right help and advice for your personal and family circumstances we have produced a document entitled "Experiencing financial difficulties or worried about losing your job" which aims to provide a road map or sign post to the various agencies or organisations that can provide you with advice and support.
