Conservation Areas Designation & Review - Strichen

Proposed Strichen Conservation Area Review

A review of Strichen conservation area commenced in the summer of 2009. A series of public consultation events and reports to the Buchan Area Committee followed. An appraisal document, retention of its designation and measures needed to improve its quality were discussed in detail. This process culminated in a report and management plan being placed before Buchan Area Committee in March 2011. This was approved at the Banff and Buchan Area Committee 15/03/2011.
