Aberdeenshire Children's Panel Advisory Committee
Aberdeenshire is seeking applications from local people who may be interested in volunteering to serve on Aberdeenshire Children's Panel Advisory Committee (CPAC).
The CPAC has an important role to play in the operation of the Children's Hearings System. The main duties involved are selecting people as children's panel members by means of interview and group discussion, monitoring their performance at hearings and advising the Scottish Executive on all matters concerning the Children's Hearings System.
No formal qualifications are required though a background involving interviewing skills would be beneficial and knowledge of the ethos of the Children's Hearings System is helpful.
