Aiming to make sure that good quality, affordable childcare is available to meet the needs of all families across Aberdeenshire.

Our vision

Our vision is:

• making sure services are responsive to, and targeted upon, the needs of children and their families

• supporting children within their own communities in collaboration with the wishes of parents

• building a close partnership between Education and Childcare Services

• providing affordable good quality childcare all year round

Partnership

We work in partnership with the private and voluntary sectors to:

• create new childcare provision
• expand existing childcare provision
• promote childcare training

We offer opportunities for childcare staff to attend training and courses in subjects as varied as food hygiene to music appreciation. The Partnership is the main source of funding for many projects which benefit children across Aberdeenshire, such as new nurseries, out of school clubs and providing childminders with grants to purchase new toys and play facilities.
