BA Childhood Studies / Childhood Practice

A flexible modular programme, delivered by distance learning leading to a Degree award. This programme is open to early childhood professionals who are working in a range of early childhood care and education settings and who have qualified to SVQ LEVEL III or equivalent.

Participants must have access to children age 0-16 on a regular basis. It aims to enhance the professional development of early childhood professionals supporting a quality service for children and families and meet the demand for the continued development of skilled and reflective childcare workers. This qualification will be a requirement by the SSSC for all managers / lead practitioners in childcare settings by the year 2011.
