Enrolment for Community Based Classes

How to join classes, groups and activities can vary depending on the time of year and your local community centre.

Many community centres will have an annual enrolment day or evening at the end of August or beginning of September. This gives you the opportunity to find out about, and join Community and College activities. There are often tutors available to speak to and give you advice on the best course for you.

New activities often start at the beginning of each new school term. So, throughout the rest of the year contacting your local community centre, to get your name onto a waiting list, should get you on to your chosen activity.

Classes, groups and activities are advertised in the local press at the beginning of August to draw attention to the enrolment events. Local posters and fliers, and information from your community centre, will also let you know what’s happening.
