Assessing Community Needs (Participation Appraisal)

Communities should aim to meet the needs and aspirations of current and future residents. Any proposals to change a community should be based upon need. A community’s needs are not always obvious. Less obvious needs can be identified using tried and tested methods. Your local Community Learning and Development staff can support you if you are interested in assessing the needs of your community.
