Funding for Voluntary and Community Groups

Few voluntary and community groups can exist without funding.   There are various sources of funding to support organisations, however community and voluntary organisation have lots of creative ideas that need money. There is plenty of advice out there to help groups to find funding.

The Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations has a wealth of information on its website.

Councils for Voluntary Services (C.V.S.’s) can give groups help to find finding using their online database.

Your local Community Learning and Development staff will be able to give you information, and Aberdeenshire Council can offer grants to voluntary organisations.
