Why create a Logo for Aberdeenshire Community Planning Partnership
Our logo embodies the vision of the Aberdeenshire Community Planning Partnership, which will be used so that everyone in Aberdeenshire can identify the work of the partnership. The logo demonstrates a partnership between the partners and the community and it clearly represents engagement with the community.
Vision
The partnership’s vision is:
Working together for the best quality of life for everyone in Aberdeenshire.
The main elements of the logo:
- The circle evokes working together as a partnership.
- The circle is ‘broken up’ in sections, which reflects more than one partner involved in the partnership.
- The ‘dots’ on either side of the circle represent people i.e. the community. We will work together for everyone.
- The different colours will make the logo outstanding, creating own identity and brand. The bright and cheerful colours evoke best quality of life.
- The typography is bold and confident and yet friendly and engaging.
Use of Logo and Target Audience
The partnership intends to use the logo in the following locations:
- Official publications (i.e. community plan, leaflets, annual reports, posters)
- Branding
- Newsletters
- Letterheads
- Business cards
- Website
Using the Logo
The logo should be used in this format and this format only:

The pantone numbers are 158 for the orange colour, 60% orange for the peach, Pantone 569 for the green colour and 50% green for the green tint. The typography is trebuchet, again pantone colour number 569. The Logo can appear smaller or bigger on publication depending on size and space of the publication but please don’t alter the font of the typography and don’t alter the relationship of the elements in the logo. Always use master artwork.
White out Device
Please use the following reversed out Logo if used on a green background. The green colour in the logo should appear in white as well as the typography:
