Review of Community Planning

The Community Planning partnership conducted a review of community planning in Aberdeenshire in 2004/5. This was because our community plan was 5 years old and was becoming rather out of date. Also, the Scottish Executive had published guidance on how community planning should be carried out across Scotland. So we took a look at how we did things, talked to a lot of our communities and partners, and tried to update and improve our community plan. Over summer 2005 we consulted widely on our new draft plan and proposals and we used the feedback from these consultations to help us finalise the new Community Plan, which was published and launched in March 2006.
