Other Changes in Circumstances

Examples of changes that should be reported are as follows:

  • If you move into a property which is subject to an empty property discount or exemption
  • If you, or a member of your household, falls into one of the 'disregarded' categories, for example, student, apprentice, or a carer
  • If you are receiving a discount or exemption but you, or a member of your household, no longer falls into one of the 'disregarded' categories, e.g. A student completes their College or University course
  • If you are receiving a discount or exemption and someone within the household becomes 18
