Other Changes in Circumstances

If you are receiving a discount or exemption because of the circumstances of an individual and those circumstances change, then you must report this change as soon as possible.

For example:

• A discount has been awarded because someone in your property was a student, but has now ceased being a student.
• A discount has been awarded because someone in your property had been providing ‘care’ to another occupant, but the person receiving care has now moved out into hospital or a nursing home.
• A property that is subject to an empty property exemption or discount has now been occupied.
