Haddo Regeneration Project Community Feedback

The following list of proposals was drawn up after these meetings, these proposals will be discussed at future meetings along with any other proposals put foward by any interested parties, a regeneration project lottery funding bid will then be drawn up to include as many viable proposals as possible.
Proposals
- Creation of an aromatic / sensory garden
- Increase toilet provision and open all toilets all year round, increase number of dog waste bins
- Creation of designated equestrian and cycle routes and the installation of shelters along the routes
- The re-establishment of a resident ranger service
- Creation of Community involvement projects including workshops on dry stane dyking, building or bat boxes, tree planting etc
- Improvement of public transport links
- Installation of security lighting at all car parks, removal of car parking fees, unlimited parking time, interpretation boards, commentary headphones
- Restoration of all statues and urns
- Improvements to the Pheasantry
- Creation of a nine hole golf course
- Development of a fishing facility, tree top walk, barbeque and picnic areas and horse carriage rides along with restoration of the existing adventure playground
- Creation of an interactive web site to include web cam monitoring of wildlife
- Measures to ensure preservation of wildlife within the park
- The hosting of special events including open air concerts and theatrical productions, vintage vehicle shows, horse shows along with awareness raising events relevant to the park
