Council Tax self-service

With the Council Tax self-service you can:

  • Switch to paperless billing
  • View your account summary
  • Check your balance, instalments and payments
  • View and download bills and reminder notices 

How to register

Step 1 - register with the myAberdeenshire account

You will need to register with myAberdeenshire if you don't have an account. Please go to step 2 if you already have myAberdeenshire. 

Step 2 - link your account to your Council Tax details

You will need to sign in to the Council Tax self-service and provide the following: 

  • Your name as it appears on your Council Tax bill
  • Your Council Tax reference number 
  • Your postcode

This is so we can match your account with your Council Tax information. You will only have to provide this information once as part of your registration.

An email will be sent to you confirming what you need to do next to activate your account. If you cannot see this email in your inbox please check your junk or spam folder. Please complete the registration process by selecting the link in the email. Once complete you will be able to access the self-service portal.
