Cairngorm National Park Authority Election

Aberdeenshire Council is responsible for running elections to Ward 5 of the Cairngorm National Park Authority. These elections take place every four years on an all-postal basis. The most recent one concluded on 17 March, 2011, with the count taking place in the Albert Hall, Ballater.

The winning candidate was Katrina Farquhar, with a majority of 356 over sitting member, Geva Blackett. The "turnout" at the election in this ward was 52%.
