Animal Health and Welfare Officers promote the responsible ownership of dogs.
Contact the Animal Health and Welfare Officers for information on the following:

- Your responsibilities as a dog owner
- Licenses
The Animal Health and Welfare Officers also have an educational role. Regular visits are made to schools throughout Aberdeenshire to speak to children on the subject of responsible pet ownership. Requests for talks from schools, youth groups and other organisations are welcome.
