Council Funding

Council funding for voluntary groups may be available from the following, depending of course on the objectives of the project in question: Community Groups, Economic Development, Education and Recreation, Social Work

Community Groups

Funding may be available from the Small Grants Scheme or from the following Community Groups: Banff and Buchan Partnership, Buchan Development Partnership, Formartine Partnership and Marr Area Partnership.

Economic Development

Details of the following schemes can be found in our Business Support Section: Support for Aberdeenshire Business - practical business advice and discretionary financial assistance, in the forms of loans and grants, to both new and existing businesses throughout Aberdeenshire; Farm Business Development Scheme - an innovative business development scheme for farmers and immediate family members; Rural Shop Support Scheme - business counselling, specialist consultancy, training and grant or loan assistance for rural retail services seeking to address development and diversification issues; Local Rural Partnerships - Banffshire Partnership, Birse Community Trust, Buchan Development Partnership, Formartine Partnership, Foveran Partnership, Huntly Ltd, Kincardine and Mearns Partnership, Marr Area Partnership, Portsoy and District Ltd, Royal Deeside Partnership.

Aberdeenshire Childcare Partnership: The Childcare Partnership provides support and advice for childcare professionals, with funding available for new facilities, and a wide range of training courses.
