Lloyds TSB Foundation for Scotland
The Trustees of the Foundations are focused on the needs of disadvantaged and marginalised people in Scottish communities and allocate funds to charities that provide support to enable people to be active members of society and to improve their quality of life.
Children, Young People, Ageing Population and Minority Groups are amongst those which are of particular interest. These can be assisted through three main objectives to which the Foundation seeks to allocate funds:
- Social and Community Needs
- Education and Training
- Scientific, Medical and Social Research

Rural Community Gateway - Funding Guide
Funding resources for rural communities, including funding for village and community halls.
Scottish Executive – Scottish Rural Partnership Fund
The Scottish Rural Partnership Fund was established in 1996 to provide resources to support the development of communities throughout rural Scotland. The fund offers grant aid from 3 separate schemes for that purpose. These are:
- the Rural Challenge Fund
- the Local Capital Grants Scheme for Community Facilities (L.C.G.S.)
- the Rural Strategic Support Fund
The schemes have different aims and objectives.

- respond to the needs of disadvantaged groups
