Sustainability Sub Committee
The Sustainability Sub Committee is a Sub Committee of the Policy and Resources Committee, the Sub Committee meets 4 times per year. Membership of the group comprises 7 elected members, they consider matters pertinent to the sustainability of Council operations and policies and monitor work carried out under the Sustainability Charter.
They also consider matters relating to the Council's performance in relation to sustainability and to the wider arena of sustainability including recently in May 2008 the response to the Scottish Governments proposed Climate Change Bill, and the current consultation regarding Climate Change Adaptation Framework.
