Session details are subject to change and will be updated in the calendar accordingly. If you would like more information on any session please contact your local centre operated Aberdeenshire Council.

Please do not contact Balmedie Leisure Centre, Bennachie Leisure Centre, Meadows Sports Centre, Garioch Sports Centre or Stonehaven Open Air Pool as they are not operated by us and not part of the holiday camps programme.

Summer camp bookings

To book your child onto a summer camp you can either go into your local centre to book and pay at the reception or you can book and pay online.

Online booking and payment for the summer camps is temporarily unavailable. Please visit one of our leisure centres to book and pay for a place. Enquiries about availability may be made by phoning the centre. We apologise for any inconvenience.

Logging in to the online booking system

You must log in with your child's login details. If you use your adult login details, you will be booking yourself onto the camps.

If your child does not have a login already, please contact or visit your local centre to arrange for one to be set up. We will email the details to you.

Using the booking system

Once you have logged in, click on advanced search and complete the fields:

  • select the site at which you wish to book a camp
  • select holiday camps in the activity type
  • select the first activity that you wish to book (there are separate options for full days, half days etc.)
  • select the range of dates during which you wish to book the camps and click search

In the result, click the green button beside your choice. You can then add other bookings to your basket. Finally, check out and pay.

You will receive a form by email, asking for more details about your child, to complete nearer the time.

Mobile climbing wall, body zorbs and bike track

During most holidays the mobile climbing wall, body zorbs and the new bike track and obstacle course visit several venues across Aberdeenshire holding drop in sessions for all the family.

These are drop in sessions so you can simply turn up and pay for a go. Children remain the responsibility of their adult carers whilst at these activities.

The climbing wall is suitable for all ages from 3 years to adults and the body zorbs are suitable for approximately 5 years to 12 years (depending on size and weight). The bike track is suitable for any age who can confidently ride a bike (we provide the bikes).

In the event of bad weather the activities may not operate. Contact Leisurelend on the day to check what is operating.

Each go lasts about 10 minutes. This may vary slightly depending on how busy the session is.

Active Aberdeenshire members should arrange to collect their vouchers from their local sports centre or pool in advance and present them on the day.

Street sport football unit

Come and take part in theses football sessions in the street sport arena. No need to be in a team and all abilities welcome. These are drop in sessions for secondary school aged people and above. They are funded by the community safety partnership and so there is no charge to take part. Burn off some energy and have some fun this summer.

In the event of really bad weather the activity may not operate.

Contact Leisurelend for more information.

Gymnastics

Garioch Gymnastics Club and Aberdeenshire Council run a variety of sessions during the holidays in the Garioch Community Centre, Inverurie.
