The following resources are available in our Skills Zone collections (at Alford, Banchory, Ellon, Fraserburgh, MeldrumStonehaven, Westhill libraries) but can also be delivered to any library near you.

Getting Online

Your local library can help you learn about computers, tablets and other devices. A number of our libraries provide one-to-one or small group support sessions. Please contact your local library to find out where sessions are currently running.

During sessions, you might learn how to:

  • use a mouse and keyboard
  • get started on the web
  • search online
  • access public services
  • understand online banking and shopping
  • use email
  • connect with friends on Facebook
  • find and book a holiday
  • use an iPad or other tablet
