Membership Information
Joining and Using the Library
You need to join the library if you want to borrow items of stock or use the computers. Membership of the library is free. Once you are a member you can borrow from any of our libraries in Aberdeenshire.
Borrower Information
Within our online library catalogue, My Account allows you to check your library records, items that you currently have out on loan, items that you have requested, and any outstanding charges that you have accumulated.

Renewals Hotline
Access your borrower account information by phone 24 hours a day.You can use the Hotline for:
- Renewing items.
- Checking which items you have currently on loan.
- Being informed of overdue items.
- Finding out when reserved items are ready for you.
To Access the Renewals Hotline dial 01224 661511. You will need your membership number and PIN number. Your PIN number is available by online request or by contacting your library.
Renewing Your Library Loans Online
You can check when your books are due back, renew them and see what charges you have via the Library Catalogue. To do this you need to have your membership card and pin number ready.
Reserving Library Items Online
You can reserve items by accessing the Library Catalogue. This includes items on loan or which are available at another Aberdeenshire Library. This service is only available to library members, so you must have a membership card. You will also need a pin number, which can be obtained by online request.
