Gambling Act 2005

In terms of Section 249 of the Gambling Act 2005, the Licensing Boards must publish a Statement of Licensing Principles. This document sets out how the Boards will deal with applications for gaming licences in terms of the Act. It should be read in conjunction with the Board's Scheme of Delegation.

The Boards published their first Statement of Licensing Principles in 2007. That document covered the period 2007 - 2010, is listed below under "Archive".

The Boards are required to review their Statement of Licensing Principles in 2010 to cover the period 2010-2013.

The revised Statement of Licensing Principles, together with the Scheme of Delegation for each of the three Licensing Board are listed below.
