The Gaitherin for S1 to S6

The Gaitherin is a 5 day festival of music, voice and drama. It is based on the traditions of the North East of Scotland wtih a contemporary style and is open to young people from Central Aberdeenshire.

Monday 10 to Friday 14 October, Newmachar primary school,. some transport available plus a residential option.

Every day at the Gaitherin there are sessions with top quality musicians and tutors. You will be able to do 3 choices from: Drama, Voice, drums, guitar,keyboards, pipes, fiddles, clarsach, tin whistle, dance. There is also a range of leisure activities organised by experienced youth workers.
