What are RSS Feeds and how do I use them?

RSS is a mechanism which allows users to view new content on webpages without actually having to visit the pages, but instead viewing all subscribed feeds on a single 'reader'. It also allows website content to be automatically syndicated out to other websites.

To view RSS Feeds, you require an RSS reader. There are many available to download for free, and a few are listed here:
