Formartine & Buchan Way

The Formartine and Buchan Way will be closed st grid ref NJ 9239 4897 (between Maud and Brucklay while engineering works take place on the line.  These works will be starting on 26th March 2012 and are expected to last for up to 3 weeks.  A diversion will be in place using the A950 and the B9106, however it is on public roads and therefore may be unsuitable for inexperienced cyclists and horse-riders, and for young children. The route should be fully open again by 16th April 2012.

Aberdeenshire Coastal Path

Sections of the coastal path have been affected by erosion and subsidence following extreme weather conditions and extra care should be taken. The coastal path between Woodston Fishery and Rock Hall Fishing Station is currently closed due to a landslide. Two bridges at Milton Haven are closed due to flood damage.
