BCU Level 2 Coach (Open Canoe) Training

This 2-day training course is for those who wish supervise and coach basic canoeing activity on sheltered waters. Applicants are required to hold a minimum of BCU 3star award as a measure of personal competence before enrolling. Individuals requiring to work towards and attain 3 star are invited to contact Adventure Scotland. This course will require a commitment to an evening programme.
Course members will be required to pre-register with BCU and take out SCA membership.

Pool Kayaking Supervision Training (F)

This is in-house employment based training for staff supervising canoeing sessions in Council swimming pools and who have no NGB qualifications. As such this training has no credence outwith the employment of the Council.

Duration: Minimum of 4 hours
