Child Protection -
"It's Everyone's Job to Make Sure I'm Alright"
Protecting children is the responsibility of every member of the community, not just the Council, the Police or the NHS. Aberdeenshire Council is committed to the protection of children. We work closely with our partners to keep the children in our communities safe and to help them achieve their full potential. We need your help to do that.
If you are worried about a child or a young person or you think one may be being abused please do not leave it to someone else to notice. They may not. You may be that child’s chance to get the help they need.
Speak to someone if you suspect abuse or have concerns.
Are you a child or young person and not sure what to do?
There are lots of people who can help you. You can talk to someone in your family you trust, a teacher, a social worker, the Police or you could call the national Child Protection Line.
