The Inverurie Fishings comprise approximately 2 miles on the north bank of the River Don, and approximately a further 2 miles on the west bank of the River Ury.
The majority of the Don beats lie upstream of the town.
It is a lovely stretch of water passing through wooded countryside, which offers splendid views of the Donside hills.
This stretch consists of over a dozen named pools, and its turbulent runs and long glides provide excellent fly water for both the trout and salmon angler.
The River Ury joins the Don at the downstream end of the Inverurie fishings.
Trout fishing
This stream provides good brown trout fishing as well as excellent salmon sport throughout the season.
