Building Standards in Aberdeenshire is administered by Planning and Environmental Services. There are 6 teams within the Service. These being Kincardine & Mearns, Marr, Formartine, Garioch, Banff & Buchan and Buchan. Information relating to key contacts on our area-based staff are detailed below:
Building Standards Manager
John McIntosh is the Building Standards Manager based in Stonehaven. John is responsible for managing the Building Standards function on behalf of the Head of Development Management and Building Standards. John can be contacted on 01569 768300.
Team Leaders
There are three Team Leaders who support and assist the Building Standards Manager. These Officers are responsible for dedicated teams of Building Standards staff and are empowered to administer the building standards function at a local level.
