About the service
This is a pilot service developed by the Mearns Area Partnership with support from the Regeneration Priority Area Fund. It follows a public consultation in the Mearns area which highlighted the need for this weekly link between the coast and Laurencekirk.
Who Qualifies for the service?
You must be a member of the Mearns Community Transport Travel Club to travel. Joining the club is free.
When can I travel?
The bus runs on a Thursday. The timetable below is approximate. The bus can divert off the route by up to half a mile to collect you from home. Please be ready to travel around 10 minutes before your stated pick up time.

The cost of a single journey is £2.00.

Community Minibus Hire
Mearns Community Transport operates a community bus for people living in the Mearns area. We aim to provide a service primarily for people living in the villages of Laurencekirk, Fettercairn, Auchenblae, Luthermuir, Fordoun, Drumlithie, Arbuthnott, Marykirk and the surrounding areas.
We have a Minibus available for hire to community groups which seats 15 passengers and is fully able to accommodate wheel chairs and is equipped with tail lift.
