Volunteer Driver Project

This volunteer car scheme was introduced in Spring 2003 for children who require help with transport to medical appointments or access visits etc. Clients are referred to the project by Aberdeenshire Council's Social Work service.

Transport for the children is provided by volunteer drivers, using their own cars. The project covers the following areas: Fraserburgh, Mintlaw, Peterhead and Banff.
