Deeside 65 Special Dial a Trip

Aberdeenshire Council's "65 Special" services provide wheelchair-accessible door-to-door transport for people who have mobility difficulties. The service is also open to people who live in areas with limited public transport. In order to travel you must register to become a member.

Who qualifies for 65 Special?

The service is open to:

  • people who have difficulty walking
  • people with other disabilities, and
  • people who don't live near a regular bus route

If you aren't sure whether you qualify please phone and ask us.

How do I book a seat?

All journeys must be pre-booked by phoning the dial-a-bus hotline on 01224 665599 between 9.30 am and 3.30 pm, Monday to Friday. Bookings can be made up to one week in advance.
