Fares and Ticketing

Fares on commercially operated bus services are set by bus operators, whilst the Council sets fares on the Council-supported Aberdeenshire Local bus network. Aberdeenshire Local bus fares are set broadly in line with commercial bus fares. You can see what ticket types are available on Aberdeenshire Local bus services on the Local Fares page.

The Council promotes a number of fares and ticketing initiatives such as discounted fares for school pupils and multi-operator through-ticketing.
