General Information

Each school day around 13,000 pupils are transported to and from school in Aberdeenshire by over 100 transport operators.
The Guide "Home-to-School Transport" provides information on school transport for Parents and Pupils. The guide is summarised below.

Special facilities are available for Support for Learner pupils.
Support for Learner Needs
Transport of Pupils with Support for Learner Needs:
Where pupils have particular mobility requirements or need specialist equipment, drivers and escorts will be trained and briefed accordingly.
All equipment will be used strictly according to the manufacturer's requirements of appropriate legislative guidelines.
