Stonehaven Watch Club

The Stonehaven Watch Club, for children aged 8 years and upwards, is run by the Kincardine and Mearns Ranger and is affiliated to the Scottish Wildlife Trust.
The group explores various aspects of natural history and the environment around us, through indoor and outdoor meetings and activities. They are based in Stonehaven, occasionally venturing further afield. Recent sessions have looked at feeding the birds, seasonal activites, recording wildlife, beach litter-picks, bogs, tree planting and archaeology.
The group meets about once a month - either on a Wednesday evening or Saturday afternoon and parents are welcome to participate as helpers or additional leaders.
