Cancellation Policy
In the event of an Active Schools Club being cancelled, you will be contacted via text using the School SEEMIS system. Please note that you will always be requested to confirm receipt of this message by replying with your child's name and the activity they were due to attend. For example, John Smith, P1, Yoga, Newtonhill. it is of paramount importance that you confirm receipt of this message. Please note that we do advise that you give your child additional instructions about what to do if a club is cancelled. It is the parents responsibility to have their child briefed that on all occasions, they must return to the School building if parental pick up has not arrived and make themselves know to the School Office. This is in line with School Policy. In the event of a confirmation text message is not received, the emergency contact numbers provided on the form will be used as alternative contacts.
Payments
Active Schools activities are payable at the first scheduled session for your child's selected activities. Please note that if payment is not received by session 2 then your child's place will be forfeited.
Payment should be in an envelope marked clearly with your child's name and the amount enclosed with the activity stated. Please note that payment via cheque should be made payable to 'Aberdeenshire Council.'
