The purpose of this site is to raise awareness of Active Schools programmes and to keep parents staff and volunteers aware and informed of activities within the Fraserburgh cluster consisting of thirteen schools. I will make every effort to make available as many activities as possible across the network in both curricular and extra curricular time.
Active Schools in Fraserburgh is now gathering a professional team of part time coaches and volunteers to deliver the best and highest level of coaching within the area. Among some of the activities to be delivered in this years programme include Active from the start is to be delivered to eight of the schools with nurseries to encourage activity at pre school level, club golf, health checks, multi-sport sessions for all schools, continuation of positive playgrounds and young leaders, the introduction of girls football and basketball for primary 1-3 girls along with the continuation of the many other after school clubs such as basketball, cricket, trampoline, multi-sports, young joggers to name a few.
Many more Festivals are to be arranged this year and hopefully many more development and training opportunities for staff and volunteers. Please feel free to contact me for any enquiries or advice.

Volunteer Opportunities
Please feel free to contact me re helping in many of the after school clubs, this is an opportunity to gain experience with children and also share experience regardless of age or gender, I would be delighted to speak or hear from any one who could offer help even though it be for short or limited periods, so please get in touch, Active Schools can also help you gain basic training in most sports and activities.
