Active Schools cannot survive without you!
You can make a difference to your child's activity levels! If you have an interest in a particular sport or just an interest in providing activity opportunities in your area, please don't hesitate to speak to me. A huge thank you to all the volunteers who have helped out last year.
Running an after schools club is much easier than you think!
I used to play netball at school and after attending a short refresher course, I felt confident enough to run a weekly netball club. The children really enjoy it, they have more confidence, good team spirit and we have even competed in a netball festival!

Volunteer Opportunities
Whether you were once an Olympic hopeful, a village champion or even an amateur jogger, the truth is you never lose it! If you have skills or participated in sport, why not get active by helping coach and encourage children to do likewise.
I am looking for volunteers who would like to get back into physical activity and could help children to stay active. From running a small football session, helping set up a jogging/walking club, or even just being available to take a register at an after schools club, every effort will be both rewarding and much appreciated!
Active schools would provide continual support and guidance as well as relevant training opportunities and even qualifications.
Please get in touch by email or phone, I look forward to hearing from you!
