Our Aim
We aim to improve the quality of life for everyone in Aberdeenshire by working together with partners for the benefit of the Sporting Community.
Who we are
We are part of the Education, Learning and Leisure Service of Aberdeenshire Council
- Team leader is Andrew Miller
- Active Schools Manager is Brian Mitchell
- Development Officers are Fraser Govan, Rachel Boal and Louise Liddell
We have a team of Sports Specific and Active Lifestyles Officers and a team of Active Schools Coordinators. We also have an army of coaches, leaders and instructors in a wide variety of sports

What we do
- We support schools and clubs to increase the range and quality of sports and active lifestyles activities on offer to pupils and clubs

Disability Inclusion Training opportunity run in partnership with Aberdeen City Council and NHS Grampian on Thursday 29th November 2007 09:30-15:30 at Alex Collie Sports and Community Centre, Bridge of Don, Aberdeen. The course is free of charge and aimed at club coaches and volunteers linked to either the Sports Council or Active Schools programme, sport & leisure facility staff, Sports Development coaches and volunteers and Education staff.
