Swimming Pool Opening Times/Timetable
Inverurie Swimming Centre is based next to Inverurie Academy, and offers an excellent range of sporting and social facilities, within a friendly and welcoming environment. The Centre is home to a range of sports clubs, and specialises in offering a comprehensive programme of swimming lessons for all ages and abilities.

- Normal Procedures to be adhered to during all sessions.
- Members of the public will be required to vacate the pool before and after fun sessions.
- Any person wishing readmitance will be required to pay the full admission for the fun session.
- Children must be accompanied by one adult to one child (ideally) or one adult to two children
Adult and Child Classes
Classes available
These classes cater for the following age ranges and take place with the adult supporting the child in the water.
- 3 to 9 months & 9 to 15 months
- 15 months to 2.5 years
- 2.5 to 3.5 years
- 3.5 to 5 years
How to register
There is no waiting list for these lessons at Inverurie. Instead there is a two week registration period where new participants can sign up for the following term. If you have attended the previous term then you can still register if there are spaces remaining after the two week period. Registration and payment must be done in person at Inverurie Swimming Centre.
The registration date for the next term of Adult and Child classes is:
- 17 March onwards for block commencing April 2012
- 16 June onwards for block commencing August 2012
- 22 September onwards for block commencing October 2012
- 24 November onwards for block commencing January 2013
- 2 March onwards for block commencing April 2013
