Consultation Exercise Jan - Feb 2003
Western Peripheral Route Stage 2
Consultation now ended
Aberdeen City Council and Aberdeenshire Council have been working towards developing a route corridor for the Northern leg of the Western Peripheral Route.
Stage 1
At the Stage 1 consultation exercise the public were given the opportunity to air their views on whether the suggested route options were the right options to take further to the comparative assessment stage.
Investigative Stage 2
The responses from this Stage 1 consultation exercise were included in the investigative Stage 2, which is comparative environmental, engineering, traffic and economic assessment of the Stage 1 route options.
From these assessments the North East Strategic Planning Committee approved consultation of three routes:
