Fraserburgh - Albany Court

Albany Court is situated in a quiet residential area of Fraserburgh away from the town centre. However, a bus stop immediately outside provides quick and easy access to all the facilities a town of this size has to offer. It is also well located for the nearby Hospital and one of the local GP practises.
Accommodation
The original complex was completed in 1972 with a further 20 flats added in 1978. It now comprises of 39 flats and 4 linked cottages.
Most of the flats benefit from having a separate bedroom that is suitable for two people, although some are of bed-sit type.
All the properties have double-glazing, central heating and fitted kitchens.
The flats are all fitted with a Door Entry System and are also connected to the Community Alarm System.
There are two common rooms, one of which is quite large.
Various regular activities are organised by the staff including:
- bingo
- coffee mornings
- lunches
For tenants who have relatives who have to travel considerable distances there are eight guestrooms available for overnight stays.
The complex also benefits from two communal bathrooms and laundry facilities for use by tenants.
Rent and Service Charges
Rent for a flat would depend on the characteristics that each flat. Rent is charged on a weekly basis but you may choose to pay on a weekly, fortnightly, four-weekly or monthly basis.
This includes:
- heating and lighting
- wardens services (9am – 5pm weekdays and 9am – 1pm at weekends)
- TV licence
Rent is usually reviewed on an annual basis.
