Situated just off the main road when entering the village, Skerryhall is very well positioned to benefit from all that Boddam has to offer. The village benefits from a small selection of shops, also a library and post office. Peterhead with its large range of shops is only 3 miles away by regular public transport.

Accommodation

Built in 1981, Skerryhall consists of 11 flats, all of which have 1-bedroom. All properties are doubled glazed with central heating and have fitted kitchens. The flats are fitted with door entry systems and tenants who feel they may be vulnerable can have their homes linked to the Community Alarm system.

Laundry RoomCommunal laundry facilities with 2 washing machines and 2 tumble dryers are provided for the benefit of the residents. A common room is also provided where residents can meet friends and chat over a cup of tea. There are 2 guestrooms for visitors who wish to stay overnight. The complex also benefits from a lift allowing easy access to the upper levels.

Rent and Service Charges

Rent for a flat would depend on the characteristics that each flat. Rent is charged on a weekly basis but you may choose to pay on a weekly, fortnightly, four-weekly or monthly basis. This includes:

  • heating and lighting,
  • wardens services (9am – 5pm weekdays and 9am – 1pm at weekends)
  • TV licence.

Rent is usually reviewed on an annual basis.
