Windmill Court is situated quite close to the centre of Fraserburgh. Everything that you would expect of a busy town is therefore no more than 10 minutes walk away, including the Post Office, Banks, numerous shops and leisure facilities.
Accommodation
Completed in 1993, Windmill Court offers a high level of comfort. It comprises of 46 flats, 43 have 1 bedroom and are suitable for two people, with the remaining 3 having two bedrooms which is suitable for up to 3 people.
All the properties have double-glazing, central heating and fitted kitchens.
The flats are all fitted with a Door Entry System and are also connected to the Community Alarm System.
There is a large sunny common room that can be used by all residents for catching up over a cup of tea or a friendly game of cards.
There are various regular activities organised by the staff. Should any tenants have relatives who have to travel considerable distances there are 6 guestrooms available for overnight stays.
The complex also benefits from communal laundry facilities that include tumble dryers and a lift allowing easy access to the upper levels.
Rent and Service Charges
Rent for a flat would depend on the characteristics that each flat. Rent is charged on a weekly basis but you may choose to pay on a weekly, fortnightly, four-weekly or monthly basis. This includes:
- heating and lighting
- wardens services (9am – 5pm weekdays and 9am – 1pm at weekends)
- TV licence
Rent is usually reviewed on an annual basis.
