Scottish Index of Multiple Deprivation 2006: Aberdeenshire

The Scottish Index of Multiple Deprivation (SIMD) is the Scottish Executive’s official tool for identifying small areas of deprivation across Scotland. The SIMD provides a relative ranking of 6,505 small areas (data zones) across Scotland, from the most deprived (ranked 1) to the least deprived (ranked 6,505).

The main results for Aberdeenshire are provided here, with data zone and corresponding electoral ward rankings of deprivation for the overall index and for each domain index.
