Statistics are drawn from two sources

1. The report ‘Agriculture in Aberdeenshire – Looking to the Future’ which analyses rural economy trends during 2003-2007.

2. The New National Forest Inventory and Production Forecast for Scotland, reproduced here courtesy of Forestry Commission Scotland. This project will combine data from private sector forests and the National Forest Estate (NFE) to calculate a national timber Production Forecast (PF).
