Farmers' Markets

Farmers Markets have become a popular fixture across Aberdeenshire, presenting valuable opportunities for producers to increase sales, add value to their own produce and gain closer links with the customer. The markets also have a proven spin off for local traders and businesses by attracting increased numbers of customers to market towns on market day.

Most of the Aberdeenshire markets are founder members of Aberdeenshire Farmers and Community Markets Association (AFCMA) which was formed to raise the profile of the circuit and was awarded LEADER funding for a coordinated marketing programme.
